The lone "government" agency that has the power to bring down Trump.

The Federal Reserve Board.

I put quotes around "goverment" because they're not really a government agency. They're independent. However, they're the only entity with the power to bring down Trump. The problem though is that they would set off another 2008-style economic collapse in the process.

My instinct tells me that if Trump does win re-election, they will jack rates to the moon and throw the country into another economic collapse.
