I'm beginning to appreciate in a whole new way how the people of the Wiemar Republic felt. Those who weren't nazis anyway. All that stands in the way of complete subversion of The Constitution is the 2020 election. If that fails, the American experiment is finished and the country will break apart. Those who would rewrite our constitution into some kind of dictatorial, theocratic nightmare are simply waiting in the wings.
