Do Americans not care?

I have the worst kind of Republican Senators.

Yes, I have called them - but much of the time now their phones, both in DC and locally, are busy or go straight to voicemail which is full.

As for calling Democratic Senators from other states, there are none near me. I'd rather call the Democratic House Impeachment Leaders and congratulate them.

I hope someday I'll be able to call a Democratic senator. If the Republican senators give Trump a free pass, I will forever refer to each of them as Senator Coward (Cornyn) and Senator Liar (Cruz)

Apparently I'm on his email list just because I've called and written so often.

It was full of lies, and made my blood boil. Unfortunately, I didn't see his crowing about the rolling back of, "President Obama’s burdensome 2015 WOTUS rule." Guess I should have sent a Part II response--And ANOTHER thing!

Your letter is wrong on so many levels, I hardly know where to start.

First of all, I am not your friend. I am your employer. I am very unhappy with your job performance. The impeachment trial is not some, “partisan charade”, it is calling to account a president who is out of control. He has no respect for his office, the law, or the country. He is an embarrassment to the American people around the world, and a danger to our security. Why denigrate Rep. Adam Schiff when he is doing his job, and you are refusing to do yours? You took an oath affirming that you would be an impartial juror in this case, when neither you, nor your compatriot McConnell, ever had any intention of doing so?

You should be ashamed! The Constitution mandates three EQUAL branches of government. Republicans are now the Party of Trump, mindlessly doing whatever he tells you. The, “unification”, you speak of, is the unity of a dying species. The American people are sick and tired and scared of Trump’s monstrous ego, coupled with his constant dishonesty, and unbridled lust for power. He heads up a criminal enterprise. Today, he threatened Republican senators thinking of voting their conscience and love of country in this trial, with—“having their heads on a pike”. That’s Mafioso speak. It just shows how contemptuous he is of you.

Let me ask you: If Trump has nothing to hide, why has he forbidden any witnesses to testify, or documents to be released? The Democrats have presented a strong and honest case based on FACTS, and law. Republicans can do nothing to defend Trump or his nefarious actions, so all they do is attack the Democrats. If they attempt to put on a circus by trying to drag down the Bidens, who have nothing to do with this mess, Americans will see it for just what it is—distraction, and vindictiveness that Joe Biden consistently polls higher than Trump. Voters are not going to forget Republicans actions in stomping on the Constitution, and inaction, in blindly following their wannabe king’s commands.

For the sake of brevity, I will not get into why a group of men think they have the right to tell a woman what she can do with her own body. Do you even know that the vast majority of Planned Parenthood’s work is contraception and family planning? If you want to protect children, try going down to the border and protect children who are being tortured in cages. When you say you want to, “support life at all its stages”, does that only mean white lives?

The only reason you have my email address is because I have written you often, urging you to do the right thing. Here is your chance to do the most important right thing in you entire career. How do you want history to remember you? Lion, or sheep?
