Don't know if this action means anything. We keep waiting for some push back, but seems they have all the bases covered. Maybe it's all going to come at once? Could this be an indicator of things to come? Kirschner has been all over Twitter and MSNBC all week with fierce analysis and he doesn't back down.

Could we have some serious consequences for these people, please? Somebody? Anybody? Hellooooo?

(15,158 posts)This will not stop. Why should they do what the court says? All procedures and expected norms have been thrown out the window.

(16,129 posts)Nothing.
As I understand it, the DOJ is responsible for enforcing it and they will decline to do so.
Barr fucking wins again.

(14,077 posts)the federal judge could send US Marshalls to enforce the order and even arrest some people. Marshalls are more loyal to the courts than to the DOJ. Dont underestimate them.

(33,447 posts)The apparent plan is to continue to defy courts until the take-over is consolidated.

(90,364 posts)... issues with people like Red Don that need to be resolved quick fast (like yesterday) and little enforcement other than a DOJ that could be crooked like Barrs.

(21,614 posts)come to that. We will either knuckle under to a dictatorship or rebel against it. Without effective courts and justice department, there seem to be no other alternatives. The outcome will depend on how many people come together to make a stand for democracy.

(9,470 posts)people should expect to be pursued by a new DOJ like there is no tomorrow. There will be no forgiveness and lots of looking back.

(4,614 posts)and his rogue Department of so-called "Justice" is defying Courts, subpoenas, etc. Along with Barr we are well and truly fucked with Trump in the Oval Office, McConnell in the Senate and Pompeo at State. They are strangling and trampling our Democracy in plain sight.
