That would be Jason Crow, who I think is now very glad his view didn't carry the day.
Fearless badass women don't hold petty grudges, but just focus on getting the job done.

(23,337 posts)than all the cacophony around her. No one is better suited for this job at this time. Badass indeed. That's why I never took her off my sig line here on DU. Never doubted her for a minute.

The incalculable value of this kind of wisdom and sage mentoring is one of the primary reasons I never bought into the argument that older, more experienced Members should get out of the way for the younguns.

The only time shes ever disappointed me was when she flatly took impeachment off the table during bush/cheney. War criminals and torture excusers both. And we couldnt impeach those fuckers for that?
Glad we were able to impeach THIS fucker.

(20,006 posts)He's a (very impressive IMO) former Army Ranger who said:
"I believe we need a new generation of leadership in our country," Crow said in a statement. "That is a belief that extends beyond party and even towards politicians and leaders whom I greatly admire, as is in the case in today's vote. But I stand by my pledge to the sixth district.

(269,172 posts)from a genuine congressional expert - they will soon take over, but there is literally no one else who could have handled this moment like Speaker Nancy.
Nancy is using knowledge, wit and ridicule to torment this monster.
Please Speaker Pelosi - never pray for me

(15,290 posts)What frosts me is all these former-military (my rep among them)who used their service and the cult "hero" status afforded to them by many voters were too chicken to change their minds and support Pelosi for Speaker. I'd take Pelosi in a bar fight over any of them.
