1. It's wonderful. I think men should be banned from any form of power.

Being an XY myself with loads of daughters, sisters, aunts, grand-daughters.

Women seem to have a much better sense of how to make this planet livable and our lives enjoyable.

2. Wait! We don't know that would work any better....

Let's just give it trial run. Say....couple of hundred years??

Then we can decide who runs things better.

That's fair.

5. I always say that women could run on this slogan....

"Hey... we couldn't possibly fuck things up any worse than men have."

(Full disclosure: Women like Joanie Ernst and Sarah Palin weaken the argument, but the women in charge would have to weed such creatures out of politics.)

as well as men, but I can't recall any stories about male candidates yelling and/or being demanding of staff like we have had with Amy Klobuchar earlier this year and Kamala Harris recently.

37. we know he's a terrible person

but, almost any story about Trump gets lost in the maelstrom of endless scandals and corruption.

did we get any of those stories about Obama, Clinton or Edwards in 2008, or McCain and the other Republicans running at that time? Or, in 2012 among Republican primary participants?

39. You forget about some of the "usual" suspects:

Sarah Palin
Michele Bachmann
Marsha Blackburn
Virginia Foxx
That witch from Delaware (and so on and so on)

It's more than just gender. This involves aptitude and psychological testing that's usually reserved for mass murderers and others who wear their underwear over their pants.

And then we have DeVos, Haley, Nielsen, and more notorious GOP cabinet roaches from modern history. Add the former governor of Oklahoma who wanted to kill all minority prisoners.

And on top of that...oh, you get the idea. Never trust ANYONE running as a Republican. They're insane.

12. Which leads to all those paradoxical decisions that bedevil us in modern society

All those young women may bias decisions based around the safety of children which could mean negotiating for order with outside forces who may at any time choose not to honor that agreement. Even in a world with 100% women you would always be at the mercy of the most unruly and least agreeable. Of course their numbers would be a distinct minority but it is the paradox that governs our lives today in a world governed by men who poorly juggle an unpredictable cocktail of abstract reason, targeted theft, and overwhelming violence!

19. Ouch! As a perimenopausal woman, that hurts!

Thatcher was appointed Secretary of State for Education and Science by Heath in his 70-74 government. She would have been 45, which is statistically pre-menopause.

Eva Peron was 33 when she died and a first lady, not a politician.

Marine Le Pen is my age and I am not post menopause. When she ran for president in 2017, it was unlikely she was post menopausal.

Yes, I know your post is "slight hyperbole," but tread lightly here please.

This undercuts the truly post menopausal liberal women like Warren, Pelosi, and Clinton who are phenomenal leaders in a democratic society.

I don't disagree that younger women make wonderful leaders, representatives, and decision makers. Goodness knows I favor way more women in power than currently are. Way more! I adore AOC for example.

Please tread lightly on the age thing though. Even in gest that's a sticky wicket.

Cheers!

23. I'm 76. Women of 50 or 60 are young to me. I probably have SOCKS older than you...

And I'm painting with a broad brush. Warren has been my first choice, and Clinton got my vote.
But...
It's time for new, young blood. Maybe not this time in the Presidential race, but soon. Very soon.
And it should include more young women.

Women's abilities are no more 'hormonally determined' than those of men, who, by the way, lose their testosterone as they age.

So older women aren't "estrogen-rich" enough to make the "better" decisions regarding children and the poor"?.. Women are "hormonally determined"? Wow..Would that be your scientifically "educated" response, lol?

Hint:. The fact that men often seem to think with their dicks doesn't mean we women think with our ovaries.

They were pointing out the three stable women vs the psycho/sociopaths out there. It was a study in contrast.

I don't mind sharing that I've always voted for Baldwin at the state level and I will until she turns 96 (or however old she is when she retires).

I'm familiar with my senator and Patty Murray, but Cantwell isn't an attention getter, so I have no opinion of her. I'm assuming the intelligent voters of Washington state know what they're doing.

A wonderful time and place for female leadership but I'm guessing they're not exactly trash talking Putin any more than Trump is!!!! Nor are they immune from the pressures being faced by the Baltic States or Ukraine.

48. Not so much an inherent gender difference as...

a conditioned one.

Girls are often raised with the implicit expectation of serving others. Nurturence behavior is praised while controlling behavior is condemned. Walk the toy aisle and there you have it.

Yes, it has gotten better since I was a child in the 70s and 80s, but still there.

Oddly, the way we condition females in societal child-rearing can make for excellent leaders on the global stage. Liberals see that. But that's a side effect, not the original intent. Hmm.
