(14,961 posts)in Vero Beach, Fl. not long before the attacks, it is scary as hell that this could be yet another terrorist from Saudi Arabia.
My son is in the Air Force and on base right now, not 30 miles from where this occurred..

Multiple news outlets identified the shooter as Second Lt. Mohammed Saeed Alshamrani. Authorities are investigating whether the incident was related to terrorism, and the FBI has taken over the investigation into the shooting, according to a spokeswoman for the Bureau.
The government of Saudi Arabia needs to make things better for these victims, and I think theyre going to owe a debt here given that this is one of their individuals, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis said at a press conference.
