Special protection for those voting to impeach?

...should 'special', life-long if necessary, protection be provided any lawmaker and family receiving death threats for voting for impeachment?

...as we approach the Senate trial, you know trump will be encouraging and inspiring his right-wing goons to go out and intimidate and/or seek retribution from anyone voting to impeach...

...I never thought one person would ever be able to damage our country and democracy so completely...

...I never thought our institutions would be so impotent and fragile...3 years in the making and still counting...

...I sure hope I'm wrong...

I never thought so many would become traitors to our Constitution and our way of life as free people. That is the saddest part of this impeachment of Trump.
