General Discussion
Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsHave the Democrats already subpoenaed Giuliani, Bolton, Mulvaney, McGahn, Pence, Perry, and Pompeo?
How can there be a Senate trial without hearing from those witnesses??
Although they may defy the House subpoenas, could they also ignore Senate subpoenas in a Senate trial?
In my opinion, if the Democrats have not yet subpoenaed the above witnesses, it would be difficult to argue that a Senate trial would be fair to the American people.
There is no need for the Democrats to disarm if they go to the trial in the Senate. They should demand those witnesses appear.
I cannot see how it would be possible to deny their request?
