Federal judge has dismissed a Trump lawsuit re: tax returns and House Ways & Means

BREAKING: A federal judge in Washington (Trump appointee Carl Nichols) has dismissed a Trump lawsuit trying to block House from getting Trump tax returns from NY state officials. Case could be refiled in New York City or upstate NY. Ruling: http://bit.ly/33NaOYd

4. True. But they don't want to file it in the right place.

Because NY State judges will probably laugh him out of court.

But the judge who tossed him out of federal court today was a Trump appointee.

Too many people, including in the media, misunderstand what this procedural decision means. Your posts have helpfully cleared this up. If Trump refills in New York State, it will be more than interesting to watch.

Regarding Trump's lawyers, I have a hard time understanding how they can perform the acts of idiocy they do without bursting into flames. I'm not an attorney but, man, even I understand jurisdiction. What a waste of time and the client's money.

Because of his history of non-payments and even suing his own lawyers, I suspect that Trump has a tough time finding first-class representation. It shows in the weak cases they present. He must pay a lot of money up front to get anyone to represent him.
