(3,696 posts)Bevin ran on terminating the expanded Kynect Medicaid program under "Obamacare" last time. Despite that KY voters still elected him. So many in the state depend on the various safety net program yet they keeping electing people who are committed to destroying that safety net. Go figure.

(2,785 posts)this same guy just said Bevin needed to win Morgan county by 15%. He only won it by 5%.
OliverQ
(3,363 posts)Although Beshear did win Fayette County by like 66%, 3 times more votes than the 2015 Democrat got.
Guess it will come down to Louisville, but Wasserman thinks Bevin is going to win.

(11,009 posts)And the Cinncinnati burbs. Sounds like he's not ready to call it for Bevin yet.

(2,785 posts)Beshear won Bath Co. by 6% and he only needed to win it by %1. So Beshear is over-performing in parts of the State too. So yeah it will come down to Louisville. Also watching WHAS here in Louisville they just said there are about 7 pivotal swing counties in which it looks like Beshear is winning.

(3,363 posts)Beshear is overperforming in Eastern and Northern Kentucky. He's winning coal country over Bevin and beating benchmarks in the north.

Beshear is winning Eastern KY (Coal country) and Northern Kentucky in addition to the big cities. Bevin is under performing in several counties and lost a coal country county to Beshear by 4%.

The big map is by precinct. So a county that is reporting shows all colored in the little map, but the precincts that haven't reported are white in the big map.

(13,783 posts).... has almost all counties colored in while the lower, larger map, has lots of white space left. It's the map from this link

(11,009 posts)Local journalist, just not reported nationally yet. Not sure where the info is coming from, but the numbers would erase the Bevin's lead.

(3,363 posts)Wasserman said Bevin needed to win that county by 12%.

Remember in 18 when all the national news were suggesting the blue wave had not materialize?
DU was like a funeral. Then around 9:00pm the real results started becoming apparent and it was Party time.
