Trump Looks Doomed In Pennsylvania As Nearly 60% of Voters Support Impeaching Or Voting Him Out

Trump Looks Doomed In Pennsylvania As Nearly 60% of Voters Support Impeaching Or Voting Him Out

"SNIP.....

The new Franklin & Marshall Poll finds that 57% of Pennsylvania voters support impeachment, and 59% of voters say it is time to vote Trump out.

Via The Franklin & Marshall Poll:
Two in five (37%) registered voters believe President Trump has done a good enough job to deserve re-election, while three in five (59%) voters say it is time for a change.

More than half (57%) of registered voters in the state support an impeachment inquiry into President Trump, although this support differs along party and ideological lines. Nearly half (47%) express “strong support” for the inquiry while nearly two in five (37%) registered voters “strongly opposes” it. Only one in five (21%) registered voters believes it is acceptable for a president to ask a foreign leader to investigate a political opponent, regardless of how they feel about the impeachment inquiry itself.

As is the case in Michigan and Wisconsin, Trump’s numbers are terrible in Pennsylvania. The Trump campaign is so desperate to win the state that they have taken over the state Republican Party, but Trump’s numbers have continued to slide in the Keystone State.

3. I weep for what Pa. has become

I grew up in Pennsylvania when a Republican was far and wide away. Steel mills, coal mines, unions, working class men and women who were , to their souls, Democrats.

What happened?

9. This actually helps to explain Trump's motive for trying what he did with Ukraine

Polling now of States Trump won in 2016

Pennsylvania 20 EVs Biden +10.5 v Trump

Michigan 16 Evs Biden +10 v Trump
https://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2020/president/mi/michigan_trump_vs_biden-6761.html#polls

North Carolina 15 EVs Biden +7.2 v Trump
https://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2020/president/nc/north_carolina_trump_vs_biden-6744.html

Ohio 18 EV Biden +6 v Trump
https://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2020/president/Ohio.html

Florida 29 EVs Biden +3.2 v Trump
https://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2020/president/Florida.html

Texas 55 EVs Biden +3.0 v Trump
https://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2020/president/tx/texas_trump_vs_biden-6818.html

Iowa 6 EVs, Biden +2 v Trump
https://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2020/president/ia/iowa_trump_vs_biden-6787.html

Arizona 11 RVs Biden +1.75 v Trump
https://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2020/president/Arizona.html

Trump is 6 pts or more behind Biden in 69 Electoral votes above that he won in 2016 - which is enough to toss him out of office. 6pts or more is a pretty likely result.

And Trump is behind in 101 more EVs he won in 2016.

If they called the election today, based on the poll of polls, Biden would win roughly 402 to Trump 136 - Trump would lose badly.

Here you can see how his approval has dropped state by state since 2016
https://morningconsult.com/tracking-trump-2/

So there is an argument to be made during impeachment that this was Trump's motive. If Trump didn't kneecap Biden, he would lose and he could face a number of criminal charges because the statute of limitations had not run out.

I think the GOP know this and are just playing along letting the Dems do as much of the dirty work as they can. When we're all punched out from this rope-a-dope with Trump, something will "leak" to finish Trump off and get him out of the way. I really doubt the GOP are sincerely going into another general election with this idiot.
