They will then travel together to Saudi Arabia to attend the annual investment forum known as “Davos in the Desert” for a few hours. The intelligence community has since concluded that Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman was involved in the murder, though he continues to deny any personal knowledge. Kushner has repeatedly stressed the importance of the U.S. relationship with the Saudis and has privately met with MBS over the last year. There is no formal meeting set up between the two as of yet, according to the person familiar with the trip, but Kushner may speak on a panel and they could have informal discussions. After a few hours in Riyadh, Kushner will fly home commercially to be back in Washington in time for his wife’s 38th birthday.
