This needs to be treated exactly as it is in reality - as a ham-fisted stunt meant to slow down the process and distract the public...

Trump could be getting as much information as he wants by simply ordered anyone under invitation or subpoena to appear, testify and report back to him of their department head afterwards...but transparency and a seat at the table are not what they want really.

Its actually kind of entertaining to see that the kind of stunts Nunes pulled during Mueller have been learned from and are not derailing this process nearly as effectively. I thank Devin Nunes' Cow for everything...in fact, I am considering a new religion - a reformation of the Pastafarianism perhaps?

May all be touched by the gooey cud appendages of the sacred cow!!!

calling it a protest lends it an air of legitimacy it doesn't deserve.

The GOP went ape-shit about that. No laws were broken, no security breaches.

Assholes.

LEMMINGS! They are just a bunch of lemmings, blindly following their most vociferous ones over the cliff. They don't know what they are doing, or why, or what they hope to accomplish. It's all just fall in line and make a big show. I guess some of them think it will make a good video clip for a campaign ad in their district.

In Buddhism, we have teachings on emptiness. Form is emptiness, and emptiness is form. For is no other than emptiness, and emptiness is no other than form. It took me a long time to understand that teaching. This parade of fools down the staircase brought the teaching home to me almost as strongly as when a tornado destroyed my house and 2 barns.

Empty suits is another way to express the teaching on emptiness. GOPers got nothing. No strategy. No cogent argument. No accomplishments. No promises kept. No healthcare. No infrastructure. No border wall. No honor. No virtue. No morality. No patriotism. Nothing but posturing. Just emptiness.
