Riverdale is the bastardized modern take on the Archie comics with a lot of teen sex, mobsters, gargoyle Kings, serial killers, bad singing, and a crazy cult. But it’s fun for the kids (and the sets and costumes are striking) so I watch. It’s kinda fun. And mark Consuelos is hot. 🤷🏻?♀️

Nancy Drew is another bastardized modernized version of a classic but I’m not thrilled. The mystery plot is good but she’s not wholesome or even really likable. There are abrupt and awkward sex scenes with Nancy Drew and Ned that really squik me.

But someday the kids will be out on their own and I won’t share a big bowl of popcorn and get to snuggle and watch their crappy tv. So I’m enjoying it.
