1. Wall Street Article: "The Bidens Concede"

From the article: "Instead of a near-religious repetition of a Biden defense, perhaps staff at CNN and NBC could try to get an answer to a simple question: What did Hunter Biden’s overseas associates think they were paying for? "

isn't this the same game that has been played since time infinitum? When the Republicans do it, their families are called capitalists. When Democrats do it, it's sleazy. Why don't we just apply one rule for all? And if that's the case, Trump's kids are in a peck of trouble.

Sidenote: I don't care to see these perky family assignments on any level. But it happens everywhere. I have even found a Kennedy name on an engineering company that did strange things in my development. The person stepped off the board long before the engineering company was involved with the development, but it was an eye opener. So, indeed, if we're establishing new rules, I am all for it.

And, of course, the question "What did Hunter Biden’s overseas associates think they were paying for?" That is the question, isn't it? If it comes to nothing, let's find out now.

His tweeter feed is very illuminating. The article alone suggests he's a Trump apologist but you can check his Twitter to remove any doubt.
Normally I don't like attacking the source but Biden offered insight into what his work entailed.

I wish he had never taken the 50k/mo. position with that Ukranian company, and he admits he got it because his last name is Biden.

I can't say that was ok.

5. Of course it wasn't okay. Not in the eyes of the voters, anyway.

But let's not be naive. These perky things happen all the time. Would be nice if we could use this as a start to cleaning up a system that will always have smell to it.

I think Hunter Biden did a good first step in that direction.

We've watched the Trump family profit from family money and power. It may not have been illegal, so people say that it isn't "wrong."

But we don't like it

Most of us slog our way through life without power or influence.

Guess that's why we love Barack Obama. He earned everything he got.

we are not voting for Hunter Biden we are voting for Joe Biden. From every account I hear Joe Biden wasn't involved with that and Biden only called for things in Ukraine that other Western nations were calling for.

Trump has also claimed that Biden pressured Ukraine to take chief prosecutor Viktor Shokin "off the case." Biden pressured Ukrainian leaders to fire Shokin -- the Obama administration, US allies and Ukrainian anti-corruption activists saw Shokin as unwilling to prosecute elite corruption -- but there is no public evidence that Biden sought to get Shokin removed from any particular case.
Full fact check here.
Joe Biden's boasting
Trump claimed in his July phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky that Biden had boasted about having "stopped the prosecution." Biden had boasted about getting Shokin fired, but he did not say he had stopped any prosecution. Shokin had been controversial precisely because he was unwilling to bring corruption prosecutions.
Full fact check here.

Biden himself didn't do anything wrong and I'd say so if he did.

You've presented facts as to why he didn't do anything improper, but that doesn't stop the criminals from grabbing hold and twisting it to look as if he did.

I'm kind of irritated at Hunter for putting his Dad in a position where he has to defend himself.

Would mean that you have a unique incite into the political process that I think many companies, foreign and domestic, would find interesting and useful.

Members on a board simply advise. They may make a phone call here or there but it mostly to advise, maybe answer questions.

Many people, either former politicians or those connected to them, serve on corporate boards.
