It’s the same playbook @realDonaldTrump used w/ the Russia scandal. Rather than deal w/ Moscow’s attack & explain his campaign’s interactions w/ Russia, Trump & his cultists denigrated the process, blasting probes, investigators & warrants. Divert/distract from the thing itself.

The focus on Schiff, the whistleblower, the process, etc. is just mind-bogglingly absurd since the impeachable offense is right there in the call summary released by the White House.

1. The GOP

has used the fallacy of deflection for a long time. Trump and the rest of them are burning the tactic out, because even people that don't know what the fallacy is will be noticing it more.

And it is absurd. As a people we really need to have/learn/get more logic. Without it, opinions and beliefs become more important and real than knowledge and facts.

That could be remedied and maybe exposure and people talking about it more would help. It is a real bullshit shield and the fallacies involved are rather simple to understand, then, they don't fly anymore.

The media seems to play along with too, so stop already, enough.
