Stark Proof That Trump Has No Real Estate Sense

Think about this.

If we buy Denmark, then we get Greenland for free.

We can buy Denmark, subdivide out Greenland, sell Denmark to the British so they'll have an EU territory, and end up with Greenland AND cash in our pocket!

What a moron that man is.

Lavrov slams Denmark’s position on Nord Stream 2 as politicized (2019)

"Denmark’s position on the Nord Stream 2 project is politicized, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said in an interview with Germany’s Rheinische Post newspaper.

He also noted that Denmark was delaying the issuance of a permission for the construction of the gas pipeline in the country’s exclusive economic zone."

Russia threatens Denmark with nuclear weapons if it tries to join Nato defence shield (2015)

"Russia has threatened to target Denmark’s warships with nuclear weapons if the Scandinavian nation becomes a member of Nato’s missile defence shield.

In comments which have been met with anger in Copenhagen, the Russian ambassador to Denmark said a move towards better integration with the Western alliance would make it a “threat to Russia”, and that it would have to accept the consequences."

Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Iceland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, the UK and the US). So I don't know what they were talking about, unless Putin had his panties in a wad about the prospect of US missiles in Greenland.

and I can't say that I really understand why, but it is real.

So this latest bit of buffoonery from Comrade trump shouldn't be a surprise, even though it always is. He's doing Putin's bidding, again. It's sort of like having a cake in the shape of Cuba and carving it up with disdain, and only to celebrate a new business deal among crooks.

As for Putin's reasons, pick one or pick all: Denmark supported Finland in the Winter War and refused to recognize Soviet control over the Baltics (not the Balkans as trump would have it ), they are the obvious choke point in the Baltic Sea for the Russians, have world-leading support for renewables (which always gets Putin's attention), and were considered by the Russians to be a weak link in Nato.

The modest missile defense system went ahead in 2016 through phase three pretty much without anyone noticing.

That's still just not enough until you think about who might be negotiating a new Arctic resource and sovereignty treaty in the next decade or two.

Sell our country to Denmark. That will eliminate the national debt - new owners, sorry talk to them about getting your money. Then rebel from Denmark. It will be a way easier war than the original revolution, it’s just stupid Denmark. Also we’ll get off for 2 Independence Days. That will rock!
