The FBI wont investigate white supremacists because their boss, the president, is a white supremacist, and he likes white supremacists. A real conundrum.
I believe Christopher A. Wray is an honorable man, but I think in many ways the FBI is hamstrung in trying to investigate the white supremacist movement like the old FBI would, Gomez said. Theres some reluctance among agents to bring forth an investigation that targets what the president perceives as his base. Its a no-win situation for the FBI agent or supervisor.

(15,958 posts)They can investigate anything they want to. They don't even have to inform the pResident. They can do whatever they want.
The question should be Do they have the courage to act???

I'm sorry they care more about their careers, then they do Americans? Hire better.

If the longstanding political norms are no longer strong enough to prevent political influences from infecting and corrupting these critical agencies then we need actual laws to reinforce them.

The details of the post don't support the title.

Too many (others) just post random tweets as news articles. Even here, Sam Adler Bell seems an unnecessary link to the story.
