30. That excerpt is the only portion of the Stephanopoulos interview that I've seen

and, I must say, after reading several DUers who were critical of George for not being tough enough on Trump and not asking all the right follow-up questions (which is easy to do in hindsight or as an armchair quarterback), I'm impressed with the way Stephanopoulos holds his ground here. He has Trump calling him "a little wiseguy" for insisting that Trump failed to answer questions on obstruction. He wasn't being a patsy.

Sometimes there are folks here who would be satisfied with nothing short of watching Trump interrogated and tortured. I realize how satisfying that may be, but don't expect the MSM to do that for you.

I can't imagine anyone having a fruitful conversation with this guy; he's all lies, dissembling and bluster. Waterboarding would be the only way to get anything resembling the truth out of him, or perhaps sodium pentothal.

Some journalists go after the president harder than others. And, you're right, the ones who push his buttons too much will just get a dramatic exit. That's why they tend to save the most difficult questions for later, but with Trump there are so many scandals that a reporter could spend days examining wrongdoing.

Where is his right eyebrow, (left on the screen?) That mark at the top of his nose and the 1 on the side of his nose looks like he took a book to the face or fell. If it was a book, chances are it's the closest he has come to one in decades.
