Palin and Hannity Wallow In Hope-Envy

Sarah Palin on Monday said Democrats who “still have that addiction to the hope-ium” President Barack Obama peddled four years ago need to “open their eyes” and vote for Mitt Romney this November.

“Some of us had Obama pegged four years ago. Remember when he promised to fundamentally transform America? We knew right then during the campaign that we were in for a world of hurt under Obama’s failed liberal socialist policies that he would really ram down our throats,” Palin told Fox News’s Sean Hannity on Monday night. “So nothing comes as a surprise to me when I hear the tone that President Obama is taking in his campaign.”

Hannity then asked Palin for her thoughts on how Obama can continue to have supporters in 2012 after what they agreed were four failed years in office. “What is this, stubborn Obama-Mania? A stubborn, hypnotic trance?” Hannity asked.

“These people who still have that addiction to the hope-ium that he had promised, that hope-y, change-y stuff that was really bogus four years ago,” Palin said, “well they have about 71 days to open up their eyes and realize the path that he has put us on, a path toward insolvency, a path toward fewer freedoms and, really, orchestrated chaos and bankruptcy.”

stated by a woman who couldn't name a single newspaper she read while running for the vice-presidency of the United States, trotted her Down's-syndrome baby out as a campaign prop and hasn't been seen with him since, extolled the virtues of good Christian family values while parading her unwed, pregnant, teen-aged daughter in front of the masses, claimed to have international experience because she could see Russia from her house, quit midway through her term in elected office while promoting her ability to stand firm in the face of any adversity, left her hometown in debt after a stint as its mayor, had a complete wardrobe-and-makeup makeover before publicly presenting herself as "the real thing", counted a stop-over in an Irish airport as international experience, and thought that any question posed by the media that touched upon domestic affairs, foreign affairs, knowledge of international treaties/law, knowledge of geography, knowledge about anything at all to be "gotcha questions" that no potential VP should be expected to answer.

The fact that FOX-News considers this woman still somehow relevant can be put down to the fact that they're all GOP propaganda-spewing assholes.

As for what excuse the allegedly 'legitimate news' networks have for continuing to give her airtime - which many of them still do - I am at a loss to understand exactly what that excuse is.

. . . when she complained about the 'tone' of his campaign?

Palins and Hannity's words need to be put on display to show voters the depths of their Romney-supporting-Obama-hatred and their limitless hypocrisy.
