First of all, he believed that a President could not obstruct justice because he was the head of the Executive and could not obstruct himself. It's a foolish premise.

Now, he is giving equal weight to an investigation of the investigators because they may have put their thumb on the scales as they were investigating Russian infiltration of our election system. How could anyone give equal weight to such an argument?

Even with all the evidence staring him in the face, he makes a comment that he would have felt unfairly treated also if he had been blamed for things he didn't do? Or does he feel badly for someone that did just what the investigators said he did?

Yeah, he's pretty much a dumbass...

He's arrogant and that is why he does not see his downfall. My late law partner was a criminal defense atty and when I was a newbie atty, I asked him why some of his clients finally got nailed by law enforcement, was it good work by them? He told me, "No, arrogance was the downfall." He further told me that people who have for a long time gotten away with wrong doing come to believe they are untouchable and it's that arrogance that gets them.

To me, this explains what eventually will happen to Trump and Barr -- they can only cover up for so long and cover up so much. Too much time and too much wrong doing will eventually come to the surface.
