by not explaining why his "summary" differed from Mueller.
He must resign or be impeached.

(3,784 posts)Interesting, since that whole "you can't indict a sitting President" thing is just a DOJ guideline too. Glad to see that their guidelines are merely suggestions. Start preparing those indictments.

(90,336 posts)TRMS had a whole segment on Barr saying to the senate Mueller should've made a decision on Red Don's criminality

(46,705 posts)See, Barr has already determined that the Mueller Report reached the conclusion that there was no evidence of criminal misbehavior. That's his binary law. Yes, or no? Did the report reach the conclusion that there is evidence that warranted prosecution? The answer was no, so now Barr is running with Trump's agenda to start a witchhunt against the agency for investigating him in the first place.
Therefore, we need to be sure that Barr follows the regulations to the letter of the law: He needs to provide a description or explanation "of the instances in which the Attorney General concluded that a proposed action by a Special Counsel was so inappropriate or unwarranted under established Department practices that it should not be pursued."
I agree. This is HOT! Barr can't avoid the House, which is controlled by Dems. He's been trying to maneuver in friendly waters by limiting his exposure to the Senate, which has allowed him to jump the details and specifics of the Mueller Report and reach conclusions that are favorable to Trump and the Republican agenda!!!
But the DoJ regulations require that he show proficiency in the details!! Which is going to be difficult because he hasn't even reviewed the body of evidence. This is a fact uncovered by Harris!!
OMIGOD. Barr is avoiding the House because he knows he failed to do his homework and won't pass a compulsory test.

(23,002 posts)And didn't read the rules of the Sp. Counsel it seems. He's just a blatant front man, slab of meat to protect the 'president', again.

I am approaching no socks season here.

(23,002 posts)Me too. I think the report got cut-off, precisely when Mr Mueller would have made his indictment requests, the end of it.
Funny you responded bc I just put in a load of wash.

(2,273 posts)Barr said under oath that Trump telling individuals to lie to Congress is not a crime.
There are only 2 conclusions possible
1. He does not know the statutes regarding suborning perjury and is therefore unfit to be Attorney General because he does not the law.
2. He lied and perjured himself by saying it was not a crime.
Either he does not know the US Code or he knowingly lied to Congress -- either way, this partisan hack who covered up IranContra needs to be removed from office and disbarred.
Dis BARRed removes him from office too. 2 for 1. Can't be Atty Gen. if you aren't a lawyer.
