Were you able to complete your investigations on your timeline or did outside influences end it sooner than you wanted to?
I still, for the life of me, don't know why Barr wasn't asked.

(1,009 posts)from special counsel rules, that if the investigation was squashed by AG that Mueller would be required to report that to congress.
This is a lawless administration.
Nothing has gone according to protocol. I think intel committees were suppose to be brief on counterintelligence by fbi...also schiff said he hasnt been briefed in 18 mos on russia intel. Just wtf.

(4,906 posts)Ask Mueller if he wanted to interview Trump. If he did ask him why he didnt. Why didnt he subpoena Trump.
Sally Yates said she prosecuted obstruction cases on evidence similar to that uncovered by Mueller. Find a few lawyers who can go back and look into case histories and see if there are similar circumstances exclusive of the unique position of Trump and see if they were prosecuted. Then ask Mueller how they differ.
It wont be easy, but Congress needs tomget its act together. The whole Barr no-show appears like a waste of effort at this point in time.

(32,111 posts)It is a very simple yes or no answer. Why did no one ask the question?

(2,356 posts)... that as soon as DIS-Barr met with SC in early March 2019 and KNEW that Mueller was not going to indict per OLC memo, DIS-Barr "suggested" (ask Kamala Harris how the AG ABUSED her question for a moment) to wrap it up since all other cases were with SDNY.
And then, DIS-Barr opened his mouth yesterday at several points and removed most of the hypothesis doubts I had entertained.
JUST THE FACT THAT MUELLER HAD TO TAKE SUCH EXTRAORDINARY STEPS TO PUSH BACK ON DIS-BARR BY "GOING TO PAPER" was, of course, my first clue. DUH!
However, I'm sick of mere clues.
