Sarah Sanders: Congress not 'smart enough' to look through Trump's taxes
By Michael Burke - 04/14/19 10:05 AM EDT
White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said Sunday that she doesn't think members of Congress are "smart enough" to look through President Trump's tax returns.
"My guess is that most of them dont do their own taxes and I certainly dont trust them to look through the decades of success that the president has and determine anything," Sanders continued.
Sanders also said that Democrats are taking a "dangerous, dangerous road" in asking for Trump's tax returns.

(15,805 posts)an elected member of Congress is going to don green eyeshades and wade into Trump's tax mess on their own. It probably hasn't occurred to her that politicians usually hire a staff with a wide range of professional expertise, including tax laws.
Sanders, in her ignorance, never even considers that with something as serious as battling with the president, it's more likely "this group" of congressmen will hire third party forensic tax specialists.

(31,412 posts)let alone considered the idea Congressional Representatives would have competent staff to analyze the tax returns.
After all, competence is not required to be hired as White House staff, otherwise she'd never have gotten her job.
She is one dumb sack of $hit, just like her boss.

(38,454 posts)? Another vicious attack from Donald Trump. This statement, although stated by Sanders, came from Donald Trump. I believe he told her to say this.
....You understand that Trump insulted a member of Congress yesterday.
....So he continues insulting other members of Congress today.

(63,221 posts)Hey Sarah, have you ever heard of something called an accountant?
They will look through those returns and find plenty off about them. It doesn't take a genius to spot fraud, cheating and illegal dealings in Trumps tax returns. The only reason he is hiding them is because he has so much to cover up. Just like everything else he is hiding.

I pity those who are doomed to a life is disappointment and failed aspirations after matriculating at overblown diploma mills such as Stanford, Harvard, Yale, hell, even USC.
Let's hope their second rate minds never figure out their intellectual inadequacies, shall we?
