Former U.S. Rep. Dana Rohrabacher lost his longtime seat representing his Orange County district in 2018. After three decades in Congress, the Republican stalwart is also leaving his Costa Mesa, CA, home.
He and his wife, Rhonda Rohrabacher, listed their home for $1.7 million. They'd purchased it in 2012 for $950,000.
No matter your political affiliation, we can all agree that the two-story home offers plenty of charm. Built in 1950 with three bedrooms and 2.5 baths, the space offers casual coastal elegance, the listing notes.
The recently renovated layout includes distressed hardwood floors, a Dutch door, and custom wainscoting and crown molding.
The remodel also changed the floor plan to include a library and an office. The main level features a living room and formal dining room. The updated kitchen has custom cabinetry, granite countertops, and high-end appliances.

OP
That house has zero charm. Shocking how little $1.7 million might buy. Is it on the water?

It sounds like he invested a lot of rubles in it for a good return on his corruption.

The kitchen is waaaay too small..and who would build a tiny house on the roof??
Now that Dana's no longer a "connected-guy", his secret slush fund has no doubt dried up

That strange clumping of pop-outs on the roof with those non-matching windows. Yuk.
