We really need more revenue from those below the $250,000 bracket also, if we want to keep a modern civilized society. Or we could cut that humongous defense budget.

revenue from the wealthy. Eliminating the loopholes for the rich and tax breaks for greedy corporations. People forget that most of the big corporations in this country are paying little to no taxes.
