I dont know why we didnt do this sooner. Take the FBI for instance. We just assumed it was okay that the agents usually leaned Republican as if Republicans were better at law and order. Instead their policies have resulted in an unfair system that puts excessive over-vigilance on groups that Republicans tend to politically disenfranchise, while providing escape hatches to Republicans who systematically cross the line. I am just saying, because this country is so divided we need to ensure that the people at the highest levels of our criminal justice system should be in line with the demographics and political affiliation of the people in this country.

(3,635 posts)of our criminal justice system would have to look into the ideological bent of law enforcement agencies, which are notoriously conservative, and thus hostile to PoC, poor, women etc.
People are supposed to be impartial, and many try to be, but political worldview and one's concept of justice are deeply intertwined.
