I don't know how he intends to serve process, but we're all in this thing together....

At least we get to keep the sand.
Something to keep in mind when you read "according to papers filed in federal court..."

(146,329 posts)defendant. Such nuisance suits are filed every day. They are not worth noticing.
However, the plaintiff has identified himself, along with his address. That's pretty foolish, I'd say. He appears to not be entirely well.

(146,329 posts)He'll have to find it, though, since I sold it a few years ago. Could be in the junkyard by now. But, he has my permission to buy it back from the guy I sold it to, if he can find him. I think that does it for my part of the lawsuit.

(115,835 posts)"Not entirely well" seems to be a bit of an understatement. Pro se litigants often are as mad as a box of frogs but this guy seems to be especially... unwell.

(146,329 posts)I don't know him, personally, but I certainly know his type. I'm sure he is well known in the law enforcement and judicial community, though. So far, I haven't looked further into that individual. I may, if I have some spare time.
Of course, he will take the dismissal of that woebegone filing as further evidence of the conspiracy against him. I hope he is a harmless type, but he could well be somewhat unpredictable, so I don't care to meet him personally, as you can probably imagine.
Wackadoo First Class.
OK, a Google search for his full name, in quotes, turns up a wealth of fascinating information. To wit:

The Velveteen Ocelot
(115,835 posts)as much as pro se litigants. They have to file their batshit crazy pleadings; some poor law clerk has to read them, and some judge has to at least write an order, if not an opinion. Back in the Pleistocene era when I was in law school I compiled a collection of court decisions in cases brought by crazy people. One of these is pretty well-known: United States ex rel. Mayo v. Satan and his Staff, 54 F.R.D. 282 (1971), https://en.wikisource.org/wiki/United_States_ex_rel._Gerald_Mayo_v._Satan_and_His_Staff. There's another one I can't remember the name of now, but it was another federal case where the plaintiff sued various government agencies for broadcasting radio signals into his brain. The court dismissed the case, of course, and snarkily suggested in a brief opinion that the plaintiff could solve his problems easily by simply attaching a chain of paper clips to his pants cuffs, which would ground him so he wouldn't get any more broadcasts. And then there's 12 So.2d 305, which every law student knows, and in schools where they still have books you can stand that one on its spine and it will automatically open to that page.
