But it seems that it's a page one or two story that got covered for a day or two.
No, No one tried to assassinate the president.
But some nut was building up an arsenal to assassinate all of the presidenr's foes.
Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, AOC, and most of the people on MSNBC and CNN were on the list of this crazy.
I won't give you his name. He wanted fame, so let's deny it to him.
He built up an arsenal. He Had a list, He'd researched their protection on Google. And he wanted to be one of the greatest murderer in American history..
Is there any sane human being who doesn't believe that this man's insanity is tied to Donald Trump's words and hatred?
C'mon, people. Wake the fuck up. There are a lot of crazy people in this world. And Trump has inspired a lot of them to go after his enemies.
Can I prove it? No. But think about it and see where it leads you. And let me know what you decide.

(52,129 posts)as far as ratings go. The fact that the story was 6 days old and still not commented on by the W House when the fake planned attack of a black man was shows you where this country is right now. It isn't a good place. Pathetic!

(2,146 posts)We have that freak that DID shoot up the Republicans baseball practice.
Damn near killed the Whip....and could have been much worse.
An actual attack
This wouldn't be my go to...a failed attempt...or plot.

(93,492 posts)Several others were killed at the same time.
Synagogues have been shot up, with congregants killed. Zionists, you know.
Planned Parenthood clinics have been under continuous assault for decades now -- that is real, it is organized, it is not by any means a tinfoil hat conspiracy theory. The people opposing abortion don't confine their activities to praying outside clinics and harassing patients on the way in.
The conspirators post the photos of doctors, nurses, and clinic staff online, with big crosshairs over their faces, and Wanted for Murder underneath. They post the names and addresses of doctors, nurses, and staffers, and they post the names of their children and their children's schools. They stalk their kids.
They go further and kill doctors, nurses, and clinic staffers. One doctor was murdered in his own church. That murderer had a variety of lurid antichoice literature in the frontseat of his car, and abundant online connections.
All the murderers so far have been American, male, white, and Christian.
You don't know it but you are minimizing the awful reality of political assassination in this country. Please do inform yourself.

(88 posts)It is already illegal to:
- Lie while under oath
- Threaten someone's life
- Yell "Fire!" in a crowded theater when there is no actual fire.
What these things have in common is that they cause various kinds of harm: legal harm, mental harm and physical harm (in order).
I think we need a politician to propose expanding "inciting violence" (already a crime) to cover these kinds of cases, where someone (anyone, not just politicians) incite people into violence. I'm sure language can be crafted by some smart people to make sure it doesn't apply too broadly, or too narrowly.

excerpt:
When Ingraham asked diGenova for his thoughts on whether theres a connection between Hasson and President Donald Trump, he grumbled about Virginias leaders getting a pass because of the decreasing media focus on them. Soon enough, diGenova went all out and declared We are in a civil war in this country.
Theres two standards of justice, one for Democrats one for Republicans. The press is all Democrat, all liberal, all progressive, all left they hate Republicans, they hate Trump. So the suggestion that theres ever going to be civil discourse in this country for the foreseeable future in this country is over. Its not going to be. Its going to be total war. And as I say to my friends, I do two things I vote and I buy guns.
Why does diGenova buy guns? Not for deer-hunting.

This really is a YUGE story.
I want to see a rundown of his weapons arsenal. Heard on tv it was YUGE. He was planning an all-out warrior assault, sounds like.

(4,340 posts)He must have used DHS-Coast Guard information-streams to craft his foiled plot. That may not have been included in news releases, but I can't believe that this skin-head would completely disregard that treasure-trove of secure information on his targets. I might have been born at night, but it wasn't last night! I'm not as naive -- or stupid -- as cadet bone spurs or his MAGAt supporters at Fox and Sinclair.
Eleven or so years ago, DoD declared all thumb drives contraband and prohibited their use on all their machines, even after security was beefed up to prevent hacking (which was the trigger of the ban: someone had casually dropped a handful of malware-infected thumb drives in a parking lot used by feds).
What safeguards were in place to prevent this kind of malfeasance, and -- more importantly -- what is being done to prevent other skin-heads with a CAC (common access card, a countermeasure to the thumb-drive incident) from taking secure data and downloading into their files or the "Dark Web" (y'know: that thing Experian that keeps using to hawk their oh-so-wonderful credit monitoring product)? Can CAC users move data from secure systems to personal cloud platforms? Inquiring minds what to know.
C'mon: ProPublica, and other investigative journalists: do your job and dig!

(55,445 posts)Because Trump, Fox News and the GOP always get triggered and emo when one of their own gets caught doing this...
Also we'd also have to discuss how many more just like him are out there undetected, which would lead to the conversation of what should be done about it...
