If Russia were to hit the U.S. with a nuclear first strike, would Trump respond?

CNN Politics, 2-18-2019

" Former acting FBI director: Trump's 'own words' prompted counterintelligence investigation "
………………….

" Even after the investigation was launched, McCabe said the President continued to praise Russia, and described an instance where Trump said he trusted Russian President Vladimir Putin in blatant contradiction with US intelligence.

McCabe told CBS that Trump didn't believe North Korea had done a missile test because Putin told him the rogue regime didn't have the capability or the missiles to carry out tests for missiles that could hit the US. McCabe said Trump said so during a White House intelligence briefing, which an FBI official who was present at the briefing relayed to McCabe.

"Intelligence officials in the briefing responded that that was not consistent with any of the intelligence our government possesses, to which the President replied, 'I don't care. I believe Putin,'" McCabe said. "

Would Trump respond to a Putin nuclear first strike?

...I have my doubts...

…May God Bless and Save the United States of America...

Then, after every intelligence and military commander had told him what happened, and shown him the radar plots for the missile flight paths from Russia to Washington and New York, Fat Donnie would say, "Putin told me they didn't launch an attack on us. I believe Putin," and go back to golfing at Mar-A-Lago.

And the Republicans -- at least those who weren't fried in the attacks -- would go ahead supporting him.

He has no knowledge, no principles, no morals, and no fortitude. He would not choose to act, nor choose not to act; he would not choose. Therein lies our danger -- others know this about him too.

He would blame Pelosi, Hillary, Obama, and the Democrats and call it all a hoax and fake news. He would then declare a national emergency to remodel the White House and leave DC for a month of golf, TV watching, and executive time at one of his resort properties.

and are completely atonamous in the advent of a surprise first strike against the U.S.A. They are always moving and Captains can launch at will if necessary... if communication is lost or if command is compromised in a nuclear event.

That's why M.A.D. (Mutual Assured Destruction) has been and still is a deterrent to a nuclear war.

My trust is with them...not tRump.

The U.S. is much more likely to initiate a first strike, but with low-yield tactical mini-nukes, like the ones being produced at Pantex currently. Even the circumstances that would bring this on are hard to imagine. The Russians have become much more adept at assymetrical warfare in recent decades, as evidenced by the false flag terrorist attacks in Chechnya and Georgia that gave them apparent license to invade, as well as the soft invasion of Ukraine.
