He has beside himself about how the deal worked out meant no real border security. Dems love open borders - he threw that in. Trumps agenda is dead for 2 years. Another shutdown wont make any change.

(1,612 posts)The RW hatemongers in conservative media have grown accustomed to their disproportionate influence, but the indisputable fact is that most Americans do not want this wall or another shutdown. And Senate and House GOP are hearing that from their constituents. So Limpy and Anne and Tammy L. and all the rest can scream away, but that's not going to change the reality -- nor will it change any minds in the Senate or House.
And if Dotard is stupid enough to veto this, then it's the GOP congressfolks who will take the hit over it.
