Rice gets the headlines while Moore networks quietly behind the scenes. She is a steel magnolia or as I now call them, Ninja Belles. When working in banking her speciality was taking bankrupt companies and making them profitable again.
The extent of her philanthropy will never be known. She has given at least 50 million to Clemson and S.Car. She has also bankrolled many projects around the state. Moore has done more for SC than the legislature and governor.
I'm sure there are plenty of stories about her, and I doubt she is a saint. However, whatever her faults, she is using her money in positive ways. Moore is seriously dedicated to finding solutions to problems in our state. She has taken over for Sisyphus apparently.
This is the woman that Nikki Haley dissed. Nikki is beyond stupid. I would bet cash money that she will return the favor in a quiet and effective way. That is if Haley doesn't implode from her own idiocy.
You will never know how and where Moore will make a difference and she won't point it out.
