I said he wouldn't drop out, now come on, DUers, anti up if you said he would drop out - donate $5 to the Obama campaign.

(29,674 posts)I did donate to Akin's campaign yesterday. As a Missouri voter I felt it was my duty to encourage him to stay in the race and fight the good fight.
Xmas74, you are keeping up the good fight by keeping him in there
He's as great to have in the news as Mitt's tax returns LOL

(29,674 posts)but just enough that, with my address being from Missouri, he knew it was coming from a Missouri voter. Just a vote of confidence. I'm more than sure Claire appreciates it.
Believe me, we Dems in Missouri enjoy seeing his face plastered all over the news too! The best part: I drove by the Repub HQ in town today. The place was empty while the Dem HQ (right on my way home from work) was jumping.
Thank you so much for relating this. I'm from a state much further South, but you do live up to the motto of "Show Me". Missouri is a great State, and your residents are Bold. I love them

(31,516 posts)I've donated to President Obama, also, but Missouri is my home state and I hate to think about someone as ignorant and uninformed as Akin being elected.
