that anti-choicers put on their blogs about women who "chose life" as it were, even to their own detriment. Now, frankly, especially in cases where these women died, for example, forgoing chemotherapy to bring a pregnancy to term, etc. I find this egregious in that its an exploitation of someone's PERSONAL MEDICAL DECISIONS, and trying to score political points on it.
What is the most fucked up is this, pro-choicers can use these SAME stories to push their position as well, if we wanted to, why? Because these women were free to choose, period.
Of course, the implication on the anti-choice side is that there are correct and incorrect decisions to be made, choose life, or do evil, that's their worldview, rather than a more rational approach which would be different strokes for different folks.
I cannot and will not judge someone based on their personal medical decisions, yet these people do, in what I consider an egregious attitude of "knowing better than you." No offence to anti-choicers, but fuck you, you have no right to judge women regardless of their decisions regarding pregnancy. Oh, and when those assholes post tragic stories about hard decisions, then CELEBRATE them as if it were a win for their side, I really have no words, its the lowest of the low.
Note to self, should stop lurking through Conservative blogs, just pisses me off.

(14,177 posts)I was watching The Young Turks tonight and they had this guy Dinesh Sosa or something like that, can't spell his name don't care to look it up. Any way the guy is a total ass hat. I understand difference of opinion, but you aren't entitled to your own set of made up facts. His whole argument is made up facts. Which brings me back to your topic. The so called pro-life side is making up their own facts. Women can't get pregnant from rape. Abortion causes breast cancer. It's too easy to get an abortion (one clinic in Kansas, and a private doctor abortion can cost $1500). Late term abortions are never justified. So, it just goes on and on and on. There are so many lies to put out that it is hard to get to the actual issue.
