It was hard for me to see CK for the vile man that he is. For too long, I wanted to believe that he didn't fully understand the power imbalance, that he thought it was ok so long as he asked permission from people over whom he wielded power. I was disappointed when he did his first unannounced routine and didn't use that time to acknowledge his failings. But when he belittled the Parkland victims, I fully saw his ugliness and realized that it will be many years--if ever--before he is capable of redemption.
