Then strap him and duct-tape his sorry ass to his Senate chair. He cannot leave his seat, not even for bathroom breaks or food or rest until he allows the CR resolutions pending from the House to be considered IMMEDIATELY and passed, for at least 3 years, not 3 weeks.
Then move Turtle's chair to the Committee of Ethics and have his ass censured or my preference: Expulsion.

He was right there with his objection when Tim Kaine moved to open the government yesterday on the Senate floor.

(28,264 posts)I hope those crowds grow to massive size, with a penchant for unruly behavior. trump and McConnell are getting away with this unconscionable cruelty to hundreds of thousands of Americans, and it way past time for it to stop.

(796 posts)Needs to be soon, I'm beginning to think it's going to be the only way out of this mess. Just shut the whole fucking thing down.
I'm not sure America is ready to do it though. How much can we all take? Where will be the actual breaking point? People dead in the streets once SNAP is over with? Major airport with no security destroyed with a bomb?
I don't want it, but I feel it's coming. And it will be ugly.
