That's what narcissists do. We know he is vengeful as hell and he never thinks he is wrong. He will blame everyone for ruining him.
That's what Hitler did we he realized he was going to lose the war. He blamed the German people and he wanted all of them to die with him.

Yale psychiatrist explains Trumps pathology and why hes now more dangerous than ever

At the bare minimum, we should do a capacity evaluation by appropriate, independent specialists, which would determine his ability to function or not in his office, and this evaluation does not require consent. This is of course a very uncomfortable situation, but even the president has the right to treatment by law, and the nature of mental pathology is that the sicker one is, the less likely one is to recognize that anything is wrong and will avoid testing and treatment at all cost.
Not to apply the correct treatmentwhich is containment and an urgent evaluationis to enable the illness, and there is no good ending to this. Oversight is fine, but to believe that we can simply proceed with the normal course of investigations without responding to the medical need is irresponsible in the lack of understanding of what level of crisis we are facing. Neither is it humane to Mr. Trump at this time; criminal responsibility is important, and he has not shown any condition that would exonerate him, but we must address first things first in an emergency. . . .

(602 posts)This government "strike" he instigated is the first Salvo in that end times agenda for him. He's going to leave behind a pile of ash or be damned.
He (doubtless with considerable heavy lifting from others) has engineered a near-perfect fulcrum to rain down abuse and "punishment" against the American people for not getting his Wall bag money. It's not about the wall, it's about the fracture point between dems fighting political twilight and how much cruel and unusual torture Trump can inflict that we are all willing to absorb before the pacts break under pressure.
It's going to get Ugly. The capital U kind.

(13,575 posts)In order to weaken America and the Western Alliance by extension. Bannon even told us the plan.
Time to understand that this is not due to Trump incompetency or irrationality. This has been the plan from the getgo: Shutter government, break down the structures of the administration, replace competent career appointees with stooges and "acting" and incompetent people or empty out the agencies and leave them vacant. Ruin the economy with tariffs and taxes, cut the safety nets and pensions, furlough massive numbers of government employees. See a pattern? He's not on our side. Neither is McConnell. They are working for someone and something else other than the welfare of the citizenry and the protections of the Constitution.
