As frequently I must.
She was going on about how much hope she has for Romney and blah blah, but then she said "from my side of the aisle." What side is that? I feel like she insults my intelligence.

(1,584 posts)Morning Joe helped Trump a lot in 2016...they gave him so much free air time. It was sickening.

(11,746 posts)I can't fully explain the feelings she evokes, but those feelings are negative. A few months ago she was on Stephanie Miller and the calls after she was off expressed similar sentiments to mine. Stephanie obviously felt the same way too, but was courteous.
I want to like Mika, but I can't. Apparently you can overlook her crypto Republicanism, or whatever it is that makes me dislike her?
It is like she is some kind of thought virus.

(50,334 posts)I'm afraid it's misplaced hope. Romney might bloviate a little, but then - like Collins - he'll give Trump what he wants even though it's not what's good for the country. If he actually stands up to Trump he will go into the history books as the only Republican to put country over party.

I've never forgotten the arrogance he displayed in the documentary about him running for president when he was shocked that Obama beat him. His campaign hadn't even thought about a concession speach.
It would be funny, though, if he challenged McConnell's authority. He won't. But it would be funny if he did.

(5,505 posts)Maybe leading a group of Rs that turn on 45 is his best entry into running again. He can say that he put the country first. Since he ran before he is probably in a good position to be able to quickly put together a campaign infrastructure if the opportunity arises.
