* First, don't freak out. This is a right wing judge. No surprise. There will be appeals.
* Next, CONTROL THE MESSAGE!! Superglue this to Trump and the mega-corrupt GOP CORRUPT CORPORATE CULT! Because the majority supports the ACA.
* Organize, Organize, Organize and VOTE THE GOP CULT OUT in 2019 (there will be some elections) and especially in 2020.
This is what happens when people don't get off their asses and VOTE. Because when these SCUMBAG right wingers get into office they appoint right wing judges, gerrymander election districts, and on and on.
ELECTIONS HAVE CONSEQUENCES!! We made real progress last month in the elections, but we have much more to do.
So, tell folks that if they want to have healthcare, clean air and water, decent wages, etc. then VOTE FOR DEMOCRATS AND NOT REPUBLICANS. VOTE THE SCUMBAGS OUT!
PS: Um, Medicare for All WILL NOT PASS now, very obviously. Don't waste energy and time on that. Focus on CRUSHING the TRUMP CULT in 2019 and 2020.

(6,916 posts)The Federalist Society has been packing the courts with unqualified, partisan judges for a generation.
This judges qualification was his political work for Republicans in the Senate.
Most of America doesnt understand how unqualified and political these rightwing Fed Soc judges are.
Keep hammering it:
Partisan judge
Fed Soc judge
Republican judge
We are gonna impeach a lot of these Trump judges. First step is to call out the judicial theft that the Fed Soc has wrought.

(3,145 posts)We need to start working on ballot initiatives that put things like Medicaid expansion and pre-existing condition protections into constitutions, state by state the same way that proponents of fair districts are working state by state to end gerrymandering.
Medicaid expansion is popular and has won at the ballot box even in cherry red states. Also popular is pre-existing condition coverage.
These can be big vote magnets in 2020.

(7,538 posts)(except maybe Clarence Thomas). They will overturn the ruling. The ruling is flawed and the Ultra-Cons on the SC know the GOP would be wiped from the face of the Earth next year if they do away with twenty million people's health-care.
