Ted Lieu demonstrates that Steve King is both evil AND stupid, in front of the world

Lieu read headlines from a Google search about House Majority Whip Steve Scalise. Noting that the first few articles about Scalise were favorable to him and included those from conservative media outlets, Lieu asked Pichai whether people at Google were manipulating those results to favor Scalise.
...
"I'm going to change one word. So I'm going to search for 'Congressman Steve King,' I'm going to hit the 'News' tab," Lieu said. "First article that pops up is from ABC News. It says 'Steve King's racist immigration talk prompts calls for congressional censure.' That's a negative article. But you don't have a group of people at Google sitting there thinking and trying to modify search results — every time Steve King comes up, a negative article appears. That's not what's happening, right?"
...
"So let me just conclude here by stating the obvious," Lieu responded. "If you want positive search results, do positive things. If you don't want negative search results, don't do negative things.

"And to some of my colleagues across the aisle, if you're getting bad press articles and bad search results, don't blame Google or Facebook or Twitter — consider blaming yourself," he added.

I suppose King was at least bright enough to realise he was in trouble when Lieu pulled out the phone - "visibly perturbed".

The only thing I can think of that’s negative about Ted Lieu is that he’s not my Congressman anymore - because we moved.

Still love him. And miss him. We’ve got Kurt Schrader now. A poor replacement even while a Democrat. He’s in that alleged “Problem Solvers” Caucus. Delete the word “Solvers” and you get the true picture.

I know what you mean about the "Problem Solvers". I am unimpressed. Feels too much like a cheesy political trick.

They talk the talk and convince many people how good the car is, even though the car has no engine...They are just crooks, they lack an understanding of consequences and everything in between to their goals is collateral damage, it is just a means to an end.

They stick a flag to their lapel and that is how far their patriotism goes, which is nothing, its just show for their followers to think they care about the country, the constitution, but they will throw everything under the bus to put money in their bank accounts. I can't understand why so many people can't see through them.

Lieu probably had George Soros pay his staff to load stars on Scalise and no stars on King so that when Lieu did his internets show, it would end up that way.

Democrats erupt into laughter after Google CEO has to explain to Rep. Steve King that the 'iPhone is made by a different company'

King said his 7-year-old granddaughter was playing a game on her phone before an election - most likely King's November 2018 reelection bid - and was shown a picture of the congressman that included some not-so-flattering language.

"I'm not going to say into the record what kind of language was used around that picture of her grandfather," he said.

Then, holding up his Apple device, King asked Pichai, "How does that show up on a 7-year-old's iPhone who's playing a kids game?"

The Google CEO answered the question by saying, "Congressman, iPhone is made by a different company."

The Democratic staff table erupted in laughter at Pichai's reply, according to Business Insider's Joe Perticone, who attended Tuesday's hearing.

King backtracked and said, "It might have been an Android. It's just … it was a hand-me-down of some kind."
