(13,575 posts)He said that Trump's criminality would be detailed in the court filings for other indictments/targets.
He said that Mueller tells a story that way.
Apparently he was right.

(3,335 posts)If Trump knows Mueller's game plan, he'll have his flunkie Acting AG Whitaker fire Mueller in advance of the court hearing and have the report silenced. That has been my worse nightmare; that the Mueller Report would never see the light of day, because Acting Director Whitaker or some other flunkie Trump might install, can decide whether the report ever sees the light of day. This has gone on for too long already, for us to never get to see that report (or have to wait for years for the courts to force the Justice Dept to release it). Trump has already beaten us, the longer this goes on.

(82,849 posts)Trump stuck Whitaker in the AG spot to serve as a stopgap from any inconvenient facts that might lurk in Mueller's reports. Whitaker has the power to bottle up any report from the special prosecutor, preventing it from seeing the light of day. By telling his story in court filings, however, Mueller gets his report into the public sphere.
