The FBI just released its annual hate crimes statistics. Jews were the target of 60% of anti-religious hate crimes, despite constituting just 2% of the U.S. population. This continues a longstanding trend of Jews being the most targeted group every year. https://ucr.fbi.gov/hate-crime/2017/topic-pages/tables/table-1.xls

PHOENIX - Hate crimes rose 17 percent nationally last year, according to an annual report just published by the FBI. The spike was even higher for anti-Semitic hate crimes, which increased 37 percent in 2017.

Just days before the annual report, swastika stickers were posted on light poles and street signs around New Mountain View Community Center, near 9th Street and Grovers Avenue.

"It just blows your mind when you know how close it is to you," said Jacob, who lives nearby.

The guy who snapped the photo of the swastika slapped on a pole told ABC15 he took down six of them.

from claiming they are the most discriminated group.

them: Our god says you can't ...
us: thank you, but I'm not in your faith, so I don't have to follow ..
them: We're being discriminated against!

The hate toward Jews is palatable. The rage is wide and encompassing, from complete disregard to full on hate, mixed in with healthy doses of "whataboutism" and excuse-making, and victim blaming. The recent murder of Jews in Pittsburgh has led a few people, including here, to take anti-Semitism more seriously and examine their own anti-Semitic beliefs or lack of knowledge, but for way to many, IMO, simply ignore it, or worse, look to downplay it all the while claiming to be "allies" to Jews.
