New votes just dropped and Katie Hobbs is now 3645 votes ahead of Gaynor! This is an important office that oversees elections.

EDIT: More info:
Hobbs (D) grabs her largest lead yet in AZ's all-important Secretary of State race: +3,645 votes. Pima put her ahead.
Big reservoir of GOP votes (Pinal) doesn't have enough votes left to flip this. So Gaynor has to win what's left in Maricopa; he's narrowly behind there so far.

(23,623 posts)2. More good news.
I can certainly see Arizona becoming a reliably Democratic state before Texas does.

(58,772 posts)4. I think I'd settle for a reasonable purple state...
that, when it does send Repubs to Washington, at least sends sane ones.
