Cold comfort, but some notable news from the results for Florida governor's race.

Gillum won Duval County, which encompasses Jacksonville and its suburbs.

That's the first time in 32 years a Democratic candidate for governor has won Duval.

Doesn't change anything, but it offers a little bit of hope for the future. All of Florida's major cities went blue.

When the race was close, but the Panhandle vote wasn't in yet. This shithole part of the state is RepukeRed and always seems to swing the vote the Repuke way when the race is close in other parts of the state. Did it for Bush, did it for Scott, and will always do it unless something changes.

And he's not going anywhere. Desantis is an idiot. Simply a drumpf puppet. He'll have lots of opportunity to hang himself before the next election.

Where as a general rule you see intolerance and anti-intellectualism?

And how do we infiltrate Facebook? Watched Beto numbers closely here in TX. He was trending up and then hit that wall....when erroneous and negative info on him surged through Facebook...passed on thousands of times. It's not like you can post a rebuttal and surge it through ..because like mindeds are "friends". And because of the lack of intellectual curiosity no one researches or challenges for the truth. Personally, I don't see any way to combat it except for what Beto tried to do. To peacefully visit and talk to every person he could.
