they have the right to discipline members. It's not unheard of, though not really common.

The House and Senate each make their own rules, and the exact mechanism is dictated by those rules; the other chamber has no input/role in the matter; but for both chambers the threshold for expulsion is a 2/3 vote of that chamber.

The Republicans will cross the isle to get rid of them since they can't do their duties in prison.

I have suggested they could impeach them. But the Senate would likely say it's not their purview since impeachment has happened before of a Senator and they refused to do it.
