So will we draw fair districts? Or will we gerrymander in our favor? nt

I'm assuming the down ballot results reflected the house results. That is, legislatures may have turned Democratic. We flipped 3 governorships... maybe more by now.

That would be the state legislatures. I am not sure how many of them we took back.

I know the colorado state senate just flipped to democratic control for example. Hopefully many more did elsewhere.

after the 2020 census.

But if I had a vote, I'd say gerrymander the hell out of anywhere we can; while simultaneously proposing a Constitutional amendment to ban the practice.

Each state draws its own lines. Hypergerrymandering has become such a problem that it’s up to the courts or the voters to act. Some states have passed laws to address this issue. It might be an issue for Dems to focus on politically. Push the issue. At state levels

of seats. This is exactly what happened in Pennsylvania. We went from 13R-5D to 9R-9D. The Democratic leaning CDs have Dem reps and the GOP leaning CDs have Rs.

The actual redistricting isn’t until 2020 by State legislatures.

Personally, I so want the states we take to gerrymander with the same shameless abandon that the Republicons have demonstrated. Maybe THEN the Supreme court will step in and end that atrocious practice.
