(5,127 posts)My usual polling place has had a line like I've never seen before. I've never had to wait to vote at this location. When I drove by there at 9am CT, the line was well out to the middle of the parking lot. And again, as I went by at 12:30pm there was still a line out into the lot. I live in a deep blue neighborhood thoroughly dotted with Beto signs, but I've gotta be thinking that turnout is up in other areas.
I like reporting what I'm seeing, however we cannot afford to take one vote for granted. Every vote counts. Do not be deterred by lines. Call that friend or two that missed making it to the polls in previous elections and see that they have a plan and ride to go vote.
