It took Rep. Barbara Comstock (R-VA10) a mere 11 seconds after she started speaking yesterday morning on right-wing radio station WMAL before she went straight to the Republican Nancy Pelosi! Maxine Waters! talking points. She then repeated the name Nancy Pelosi again. And again. Its almost Dave Brat-level crazed on that ridiculous right-wing talking point (as if it means anything). Oh, and Comstock concludes by attempting to distance herself from her 98% voting record with Trump and lying about Jennifer Wexton wanting (of course) to keep the government open. Desperate and pathetic. Just three more days of this idiocy

(5,754 posts)The ads against our local state house candidate Sally Harrell show pictures of Nancy Pelosi. I don't get it at all. What is this supposed to mean to folks?

(664 posts)Into the new Hillary Clinton - the powerful, EVIL woman who, at the very mention of her name, causes angels to be de-frocked and the forces of liberalism to be released! It's CRAZY!

(560 posts)that ad seems to run 4 times an hour. Thats funny, because wed been told that the GOP/PACs were pulling their money out of the race. I know a Dem PAC just cancelled a big buy for Wexton. Barring some anomaly or hanky-panky, this ones over.

November 1
Rep. Barbara Comstock (R) trails Democrat Jennifer Wexton and has only slightly more support than the polarizing Republican Senate candidate Corey Stewart, according to a new Washington Post-Schar School poll.
Comstock, who is seeking a third term in Northern Virginias 10th District, has in previous races relied on support from at least some Democratic-leaning voters to win a phenomenon that the poll suggests may not materialize this year ...

(42,914 posts)The 10th is probably one of the more politically sophisticated districts in the country, with a high percentage of government employees. What might work for repubs in the hinterlands among low-info voters isn't likely to work in the Northern Virginia suburbs.

(146,364 posts)tying Pelosi to all the Democratic candidates. It's almost funny. They've run out of issues for individual candidates, so they're trying desperately to tar them all with the same brush.
Isn't it amazing that Nancy Pelosi has so much power to frighten Republicans? One more reason to make her Speaker again, it seems to me.
