A whole slew of anti-abortion state legislation is in the works.

Still no absolute Roe overturners, but that is obviously the goal.

These States Are Voting On Abortion Bills In The Midterms. Here’s What You Should Know

...

Alabama’s proposed constitutional amendment, “Statewide Amendment 2,” will ask voters to affirm that “the constitution of this state does not protect the right to abortion or require the funding of abortion.” It would also “recognize and support the sanctity of unborn life and the rights of unborn children.”

...

Likewise, West Virginia voters will decide whether to adopt a “No Constitutional Right to Abortion Amendment,” asking voters whether they want to add that “Nothing in this Constitution secures or protects a right to abortion or requires the funding of abortion” to the state constitution.

...

Oregon voters will decide whether to adopt a measuring barring public funding for abortion except in cases of rape, incest or where the mother’s life is in danger. The Measure 106 ballot initiative comes largely in response to an August 2017 law requiring nearly all taxpayers to fund elective abortions.

And here's a particularly nasty one coming right up in the Supreme Court now. We will definitely see what's up with Kavanaugh really soon.

(I read the horrible right wing sites so you don't have to.)

According to Indiana Public Media, Hill said the fetal characteristic abortion ban guards against discrimination. He also argued the state has the right to require fetal remains to be treated with dignity.

I seem to recall this one was VP Pence's baby.

It's on the increase, because they're looking for that 'magic bullet' case that will get to the new RW SC to further erode Roe v Wade.

Dems have kind of missed the bus on this. It needs to be fought at the state/local level. Perhaps as people wake up, we can educate them. The coming Blue Wave won't mean much unless it also washes down to the state/local level.
